Taking the guess work out of who the new boss is on The Office

Monday

Guest post written by Katherine Kyle

Now, most of the time I have my principles against looking up spoilers for my favorite TV shows. I just really hate it when something is revealed and completely ruined for me. But I recently broke my own rule about a month ago. I was still just about a week away from the premiere of the show and just gave in and looked up.

I was pretty excited to see that it was actually Andy that was going to be the new boss! While I was online looking up that, I also found the site INTERNET.CLEAR.COM. I looked through it a little bit and after that I decided to change over my apartment internet service to one of the packages that I saw on there.

I am glad that I made an exception for my no looking up spoilers rule for The Office. I feel like this was definitely a special circumstance. It was really surprising to see Andy in that role. I guessed they picked him because he is too nice and everyone in the office is just going to walk all over him, creating all kinds of comedic situations.

Boxing and Martial Arts for Exercise

Friday

Ever Considered martial arts as a great exercise?  Research has found that by participating in martial arts, you not only improve your reflexes while performing the activity, but actually experience faster reaction times during all activities of your life.

Boxers and martial artists are some of the most highly conditioned athletes competing in sports today, and that if you follow some simple procedures, you can build stamina, tone your muscles and burn calories.

The first thing to understand about martial art exercise routines is that they are composed of roughly 60 percent anaerobic activity performed at 85 to 90 percent of your maximum heart rate. Compared to aerobic activity, in which your heart beats within 70 to 85 percent of its maximum, the exercises are extremely strenuous and not for the faint-hearted--or weak-wristed, for that matter.

My Isagenix Journey

Monday

The month of July was a waste - birthday month - this is a habit I am going to need to change.  Long ago I started having a birthday week and later a birthday month, where I eat, drink and be merry with a few (too many) of my closest friends.

Of course I don't combine my friends and have one party.  No, I meet up with them individually and eat, drink and be merry with each one.  Well, at least it is only one month out of the year!

So, the good news is that I didn't gain any weight back, so I am still at the 45 pounds lost mark. YEA...

My Sister and me

Sunday

Written by Fermin Washington

Moving in with my sister was something I wasn’t exactly excited to do but it was really necessary after I lost my job when I was 23. She was already married with kids but there wasn’t much I could do about it and they had an extra room. Karey’s always been the most gracious to me and I like how generous she is with her home but I feel like I’mwalking on eggshellssometimes trying not to mess it up. It’s pristinely decorated and she keeps it as clean as humanly possible even with the kids around so I try as hard as I can to be neater than I’m naturally inclined. There’s a http://HOMESECURITY101.COM alarm there, too, and for the life of me I can’t remember the code to turn it off which makes it even worse for me when I’m already feeling bad about messing the place up! I love Karey but I hope I can get back on my feet soon and pay for my own place to live again.

Isagenix - 30 day challenge

Thursday

I am doing good on Isagenix - I have lost 44 pounds - but this has always been my set point.  Everytime in the past when I have dieted, I get to the 45 pound mark and then get stuck, go off the program and gain in back.

This time I am determined to break the cycle and get past the 50 pound weight loss plateau and move on forward.  So this is my plan:

30 DAY CHALLENGE
30 days of being on the plan - 2 shakes a day and sensible meal
no late night snacking
one cleanse day a week

I am very motivated and excited about breaking my weight loss barrier !!

Weight Loss update - Isagenix shake and cleanse

Friday

Things have been going good with my commitment to lose weight and get healthy in 2011.  In years past when I have made the determination to make major changes I have failed.  This year has been different.  I made the decision and have followed through with that decision.  And I feel great.

One of the biggest helps to my success has been the ease and nutrition of the Isagenix products.  I love the way they taste.  The products have such good nutrition that I feel they help me stay on track.

I have lost 44 pounds in 6 months which I am very happy with.  The main reason that it is not a bigger number is the amount of times I have eaten more than I should.  For me this is a good thing.  Normally I would have gone off the program long ago.  What pleases me so much is the fact that I can have the cheats and still get back with the program and continue to lose.

The slow weight loss is good at my age (52) because it gives my body a chance to catch up the changes.
